The founding members of FinEst Volunteers are Finnish and Estonian volunteers who met while helping Ukrainian refugees on the Polish border after the war of aggression began in 2022.

The organization was established in the spring of 2023, and from the beginning, the board has also included Ukrainians. Our purpose is to be a small, fast-reacting, people-oriented association.

The board invites and/or accepts new members, and currently there are approximately 40 members, third of whom are Ukrainians.

In addition to members, the association has a large and invaluable group of people from all over the world working as volunteers in both Finland and Ukraine.
